ABOUT - A letter from the Founder

Let’s FACE it! Is a Canadian company.

Let's FACE it! donates 1 mask for every 8 sold to senior homes, the most vulnerable part of our population to the Covid-19 epidemic.  As of Nov 1, 2020 we have donated 220 masks. Very grateful to everyone that made this possible. Thanks

I had written a draft that was professional and glossy… and decided that is not me and who I represent. Here is a short history of Let’s FACE it!

I lost my employment due to restructuring in late February 2020 after almost 7 years of service. Not the best time to lose your bi-weekly income. But when is it? As with most single mothers... NEVER!

Two weeks later (March 17, 2020) our world & reality as we knew it was at a standstill, and we were all confined to our homes due to the Corona Virus pandemic.

I was listening to the news in disbelief… how the hell am I going to find a job during this epidemic, how am I going to pay the bills and still act cheerful and positive around my son?  I did not want to add extra stress to a teenager, they have enough to deal with.  To add fuel to the fire my son was at higher risk from chronic asthma and was anxious enough already.

I realized that while I can’t control Covid-19, I can control my reaction to it, that is when everything changed for me. I needed to face the facts and try to accept our world’s new reality.

I was very fortunate that my friend George whom I have known since my days in the garment industry, reached out to check up on me.  We got talking and discussed working together to sell a  line of face masks online. This was before the media and politicians were on the bandwagon on masks.

ZOOM forward to today... (LOL). I have merchandised a line of Face Masks that are reusable, washable and comfortable to wear with an added value of a little humour and elegance. I am hoping you enjoy wearing it for your protection.

I have reached out to friends and family for their help and support during this journey and have not been disappointed. I want to heartily thank the following:
